The staff, especially Ricardo and another young woman, were amazing. Very welcoming, friendly and helpful (better than our stay in Rome and Tuscany). The location and the size of the room were perfect. Also loved the nice little touches - welcome drinks on the terrace, cookies and candy in the room, and goodbye gift.

Ricardo at the front desk took the time to recommend a whole itinerary for our one day in Venice, including sights, history, and food. The facility was nice and cozy, and the breakfast was very good, but the staff were truly exceptional in every way. I can't recommend this place highly enough.

The moment we waked in the door we were greeted very warmly and attentively. The location was excellent and everything you need is right outside the hotel. We loved the room and the wonderful breakfast. We highly recommend this place!

Location, especially for first-timers to Venice. The hotel is extremely well situated next to Piazza San Marcos and the water taxi Alilaguna (1-2 minute walk to either), which can take you to and from the airport and the train station for a minimal amount (15 Euro or so per person). The hotel staff was extremely considerate and offered assistance from the very start, providing us with a map of the city without requesting one, and then pointing out certain things to do and see that a first-time visitor might miss. They also gave recommendations for best gondola rides, restaurants, and interesting things to see that arent inundated with tourists. Chocolates on the pillows and free glasses of Prosecco on the rooftop were nice touches. Upon leaving they even asked for our feedback, on how they could make our stay even better. Out of the four places we stayed in Italy (Venice, Florence, Naples, and Rome), this was by far the best hotel/B&B, although I had assumed that Venice would have been the worst considering the number of tourists confined to such a small area. All in all, a wonderful experience.

Hotel Firenze is a great accommodation in a wonderful location and a fabulous city. The hotel was very clean, the staff was extraordinarily accommodating, and the buffet breakfast was perfect.
